Frequently asked questions

Can a B.Tech graduate apply for the Diploma Trainee post?

No. Candidates holding B Tech and M Tech or any higher technical qualification are strictly not eligible for Diploma Trainee (DTE/DTC/DTS) posts — even if they also possess a diploma. Only candidates with a 3-year full-time regular diploma in the relevant discipline may apply.

Can I apply for more than one post?

Yes, but each post requires a separate application form and a separate fee payment. For each post, you must choose only one region — this selection is final and cannot be changed after submission. The CBT is conducted on a single day for all regions simultaneously.

What is the OBC-NCL certificate requirement?

The OBC-NCL certificate must be based on income for financial years 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26, and must have been issued on or after 01 April 2026. Older certificates will not be accepted.
