Namo Shetkari Yojana 2026: Get ₹12,000 Annual Benefit - Eligibility & Status Check
Introduction
To support the farmers of Maharashtra, the State Government launched the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana. This scheme works alongside the central PM-Kisan scheme to double the financial assistance provided to farmers.
Benefit Structure
From Central Govt (PM-Kisan): ₹6,000 per year.
From State Govt (Namo Shetkari): ₹6,000 per year.
Total Financial Aid: Farmers receive ₹12,000 annually in installments of ₹2,000 each.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a resident farmer of Maharashtra.
Only those farmers who are successfully registered and validated under the PM-Kisan portal are eligible.
Land ownership records (7/12 extract) must be in the applicant's name.
Mandatory Requirements
Aadhaar e-KYC: Your PM-Kisan profile must be e-KYC verified.
Land Mapping: Land records must be linked with the Aadhaar and the portal.
DBT Activation: Your bank account must be linked with Aadhaar to receive direct transfers.
How to Check Status?
Farmers can visit the official portal nsmny.mahait.org to check their payment status using their Mobile Number or Registration ID.
